The strips that are featured in this section are the ones that I found the most hilarious when I first read Calvin and Hobbes. Most, if not all of them come from the first book in the Calvin and Hobbes series. Please note that the copyright of these comic strips remains with Universal Press Syndicate. Who hasn't been so desperate in an exam that will write anything to try and gain a mark for humour? The closest I got to doing this was hiding under my doona. No it didn't work either. The joke is getting old - nowadays babies tend to come from China :) Captain Napalm! Almost to the rescue. Anyone who had to sit through boring English classes would like this strip. This was pretty much my reaction when my parents gave me an allowance! The contrast between the 'good parenting' lessons from Calvin's parents and Calvin's reaction (which often reflected the stereotypical 'real world' reaction) was a constant source of humour. This become the standard line my brothers and I used when something went wrong. As a school kid, who hasn't wished for something like this to give you a day off. [ HOME ]	Cool Calvin & Hobbes Collection Cool Calvin & Hobbes Collection, a fan site about the Calvin and Hobbes comic strip, was created in 1995 and was my first website. It received a lot of updates until 1999 when I 'retired' so that I could focus on other things. In 2006, I couldn't stand some of the tacky design choices I had originally made in 1995 and so re-designed the site and updated some of the content.
